The World Health Organization (WHO) as researched that, Red meat, and processed meat deemed carcinogenic to humans, linked to developing colorectal cancer. “Limited evidence means that a positive association between red meat, has been observed between exposure to the agent and cancer…In the case of processed meat, this classification is based on sufficient evidence from epidemiological studies that eating processed meat causes colorectal cancer…this does NOT mean that they are all equally dangerous as tobacco smoking and asbestos,” ().
It is clear that because we don’t know exactly the level of risk associated with eating processed meat, and red meat that we need to further research.
